Our History
All Souls Metaphysical Chapel was established when the United Metaphysical Churches issued its charter in June 2003. The original congregants met in a Travelers Chapel in Conway, SC. This was a convenient place to meet as the small chapel doors are open for any who searched for spiritual enlightenment. Sunday services were held in this small building for six months before being moving to a room leased from Coastal Carolina University. All Souls Metaphysical Chapel was set up and taken down each Sunday for morning service. Rev. Alma Swartzwelder conducted services for the congregation while it was without an ordained
minister until she was ordained in October 2007. Since then the congregation had a small but steady increase in its members. Over the years many ministers have visited All Souls and contributed to the growth of this warm and loving church. As of August 3 All Souls Metaphysical Chapel has moved from a leased room on the CCU campus to our own sacred space in Little River. This move has allowed us to develop an intimate family orientated congregation, and expand our services to the community for all who seeks spiritual enlightenment.
Divine Metaphysics is a Science, Philosophy and Religion which accepts the existence of an infinite intelligence. It practices and teaches the spiritual truths recorded in the Holy Bible and other Sacred Scriptures, and as revealed in the life and teaching of Jesus the Christ and other Holy Avatars of God.
Paramount among the spiritual truths is the fact that life is continuous. The change called death is merely a rebirth into a world of higher vibration. Truth is proven through communication, by means of mental and physical mediumship, with loved ones and teachers who live in the spirit world.
One of the truths of Divine Metaphysics is to teach these truths pertaining to man’s spiritual and physical welfare. However, the practice and promulgation of these truths do not make Divine Metaphysics a creed because each individual is encouraged to worship God according to the dictates of his or her own conscience.
What is Divine Metaphysics?

-

-
Romans 8: 26 – Paul has a clear understanding of spiritual agencies.
1. We believe in God as Infinite Intelligence.
We believe God is not a personified being sitting upon a throne–neither male nor female but containing both–thus we say, ”Father-Mother God.”
2. We believe that the phenomena of nature, both physical and spiritual, are the expression of Infinite Intelligence.
God, God, God, there is naught else but God! This includes the animal, vegetable and mineral kingdoms.
3. We affirm that a correct understanding of such expression and living in accordance therewith constitute a true religion.
4. We believe in personal responsibility & that we create our own happiness or unhappiness as we live in harmony or discord with natural physical and spiritual laws.
We do not accept vicarious atonement. We are personally responsible and cannot be acquitted from the results of our choices by merely repeating empty words that are usually induced by fear. Ignorance is no excuse of the law, that refers to the spiritual law as well. As long as we are ignorant or indifferent to the spiritual laws of the universe we will continue to create the negative and suffer the results.
5. We affirm that the existence and personal identity of the individual continues after leaving the physical world.
Moses and Elias continued to exist after death and were able to be personally identified when they appeared to Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration. Every person who has ever repeated the Apostles Creed which says, ‘I believe in the communion of saints’ has acknowledged communication with the so-called dead.)
6. We affirm that communication with Spirit is a natural experience & is demonstrated through mediumship.
7. We affirm that examples, including prophecy and healing contained in the Bible & other Sacred Texts are divine attributes proven through mediumship.
8. We believe that the highest morality is contained in the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
9. We affirm that the doorway to reformation is always open to any soul here or hereafter.
We can begin our spiritual progression here and now. It also means we do not accept “eternal damnation.”
Declaration of Principals
Spiritual Healing is one of the special phases of mediumship and of Divine Metaphysics which uses the understanding and power of the Natural Universal Laws to impart vital and curative forces to pathological conditions. It is recognized in the New Testament and has been a tenet of both ancient and modern religions.
A human being is made up of three parts: body, mind, and spirit. And, it is the energy of the mind which controls the spirit. And, it is the energy of the mind which controls the condition of these parts.
Constructive mental thoughts create healthy conditions. Destructive mental thoughts create disease condition.
It is a fact, stated in the Bible, that the normal condition of an individual is to be perfect and healthy in body, soul and spirit. This is the condition which God has made available for everyone. Therefore, there is always a limitless supply of Divine Healing Energy to help a person achieve perfect health. This Divine Energy and the Natural Universal Laws which control it are what a Spiritual Healer uses with the direction and guidance of higher spirit forces, to help an individual during a healing.
Spiritual Healers work in many different ways, but whichever methods they use, all contain common attributes.
The healers enter into their own silence and meditation to raise their consciousness to the spiritual plane, request spiritual direction and guidance, and tap into the limitless storehouse of God-supply.
They visualize the person receiving healing and request the cooperation of the unseen forces to direct the healing energy to that individual. The healers also visualize the person in perfect health affirming the presence of infinite intelligence; and giving thanks for an influx of peace, harmony and balance. In addition, the healers mentally direct to the individual instructions to attune their own mental energies along positive and constructive pathways.
Although healers can assist an individual by directing healing energies, the success of a healing depends on the faith and desire of the person to use his or her own mental energy positively. And finally, the individual desiring healing need only attune his or her own mind to Spirit so that the forces can operate successfully.
